I've the same problem. When i configure Cubic player for playing MIDI files, i can play only MIDI files, when i try to ply something order, CP hangs in messages' Preparing samples', but sometimes it was fine and CP normally plays mod, s3m files, but mouslty hangs :-( I'ha two configuration. The first is for playing normal sample format files (mod, s3m etc), and second is form MIDI files. Diference is between mixing frekfency and path to patches ... > > BTW: Does anybody know what new items > have been implemented in CP 1.666? > > I readed that, but i forgot, sorry. But i thing CP1.666 will be bether than CP1.6 surely. > I use CP 1.6, SB Pro or WSS modes on Mozart BTC 1820, 486DX50, 4MB RAM I use CP 1.6, SB Pro is WSS mode (it's 16 bit, stereo and 44KHz mix) on ISP-16 card, 486DX2/66, 8Mb Bye, Jusoft.
